PROJECT GOALS

When the project started the main goal was to implement ISO 19650 for digital information management and deliver a clash free 3D Model. Other goals include delivery using the ACC and AEC collection, and the delivery of a Clash free 3D model with LOD 300. It was important to digitise estimation and BOQ processes, digitise different engineering design workflows and reduce the number of RFIs and variation orders during the construction phase.

SOLUTIONS

The client utilised Autodesk Construction Cloud as main Common Data Environment. They could also use the AEC collection to do 3D modelling, Civil 3D for Roads, Surfaces, Pipelines and Storm Water, Plant 3D for Piping and Mechanical, Revit for Buildings, Navisworks Manage to create federated model, ACC Design Collaboration to collaborate with different disciplines and teams, ACC Model Coordination for automatic Clash detection. They utilised the interoperability between ACC Docs, Autodesk design solutions and the AEC collection.
